Named after William Shakespeare, tradition tells that the famous playwright stayed here on several occasions when travelling between Stratford-upon-Avon and London. It is also said that he may have gained inspiration during one of his stays here for ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’. During your stay you can stroll through the beautifully restored parterre garden to the rear of the property. Further to the rear is a large lawn bordered to the west by tall willows surrounding an ornamental pond. Set back from the village road, the house also enjoys a front garden, well stocked with mature trees and shrubs. The house is arranged over 3 floors.
